Suggested packing list

Luggage

Airline travellers are generally permitted:
1. two free checked bags which may not exceed 50 lbs. (23kg) total weight
2. one carry-on bag which may not exceed 18 lbs. (8kg), and
3. one personal item such as a purse or back back which may not exceed 6.5 lbs. (3 kg).

We ask that each team member allocate one bag for personal items and their second bag for team items. You must bring this second bag to your team’s packing meeting where team supplies will be distributed among all the luggage. After the packing meeting, you will take your team bag home and it will be your responsibility to bring it to the airport on the day the team departs and to continue to keep track of it throughout your trip.

You must contact your bank and/or credit card company to let them know that you will be traveling abroad in South Africa and Eswatini (you may need to say “Swaziland”) and to inform them of the dates of your travel.
